Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang, translated as The Woman Pulled from My Rib in English, is an adaptation of Carlo J. Caparas' celebrated graphic novel. Joyce E. Bernal, with Topel Lee, directs Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera in a story of destiny, secrets and deception. Scheduled for 80 episodes, the series premiered on February 2, 2009 via GMA7 the second largest Tv Network in the Philippines.
Premise
Director Bernal described the series as an "action, suspense, drama ... underworld".
It tells the story of Homer (Dantes), a young businessman who leads a boring life and suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder. His relationship with Hileen (de Leon), his fiancé, is falling apart and yet he is oblivious from it. [4] He wakes up one morning, only to find Proserfina (Rivera), an intriguingly beautiful woman, lying beside him.
