Goodbye Doc Elmer!

Last night, on the Houdini stunt in Quinta Ronda Eliminacion, Elmer has concluded his journey to on the Pinoy Fear Factor stage. Doc Elmer placed on the bottom beaten by Lj, and the Super Manuel Participantes.

On the other hand, Manuel continued reighning the stardome as he again showed a great and fantastic show last night.

Si Manuel lang ang tangi sa bottom three na nakatapos sa makapigil-hiningang Houdini stunt ng Quinta Ronda De Eliminacion. Sinasabing marami nang kalahok mula sa iba't ibang bansa ang umatras sa hamon na ito, at kabilang na diyan sina Elmer at LJ. Dahil mahilig talaga sa tubig si Manuel, confident siyang magagawa ang stunt with presence of mind. Habang nasa underwater ay nakuha pa niyang mag-thumbs up at mag-smile bago lumangoy papunta sa finish line. Dahil sa kanyang muling pagpapakitang gilas ay binansagan na siya sa wakas ni Ryan Agoncillo na Super Manuel.

Pero bawat superhero ay may matinding arch enemy. Anong matinding plano ng natititarang Pump Squad na sina Jommy at RJ at yayanig sa tinaguriang 'Hari ng Stunts'? Abangan!!!

A cockroach breakfast for Elmer

On the December 3 episode of Pinoy Fear Factor, the stunts are really getting harder and harder. Of course, yuckier! Lol. I hope there is a such word as "YUCKIER". ^^, Anyway, as usual... hehe Manuel still got the immunity for the next stunt, and was actually asked by Ryan if he will give his immunity to other 1 female Participate to be tutted as gentleman. Well, Manuel didn't gave it. For me there is nothing wrong with that because he's right, this is a competition, he worked hard for that immunity and why should he give it to other person? And in fact it will be unfair to other chicas who will not be chosen by him to have the immunity. But making that decision didn't ran as easy as that. Manuel, was so emotional when making the decision [he actually cried, a little tears. hehe]. And i think he did the right choice then because the next stunt after the "andamyo" is you need to catch "cockroach" using your mouth and transfer it into another container which is very much yucky! Hehehe... And there it comes that a cockroach has been a breakfast for Elmer.





I actually haven't seen the whole scene yet but it was confirmed that Elmer ate a cockroach when doing the stunt. Naahhh! I don't even want one to step on my skin, much more to eat one. Whoa! I even chilled with that snake stunt before, much more with this stunt! Hahaiz... Pinoy Fear Factor really rocks! Whew! ^^, And by the way, Doc Elmer is now also [officially] member of the LOSER PumpSquad. Hehe... Well, goodluck to Doc! Bleehh...

Manuel, the new Fear Factor world record holder

Another week has come, another set of stunts and challenges awaits to the remaining 10 Participantes. Who will last in the battle field? Who will get the throne?...

Let's see...

Hahaha. Hmmm... Does my intro is deceiving? Nyok! ^^, On this week's start, Manuel got the new Fear Factor world record On the stunt Auto Resbaladizos. The stunt is really difficult...but not for Manuel, i think. Really, it's not that easy. It was a hanged auto, about 50 ft. tall, and it was poured by water that makes the auto's surface more slippery, but it doesn't ends there. The other thing that Participantes' enemy is the very much freezing temperature. Whoa. The week has just started but I already have a lot of things that i'm gonna share to you guys.

Manuel sets new world record for Fear Factor's Auto Resbaladizos or Slippery car stunt. He beat the previously held Fear Factor Hungary which was 3 minutes and 7 seconds, while he done the stunt within 44 seconds.
Well, Manuel really has the reason to celebrate. ^^, but he's not alone! Because Lj, and last 2 consequeive weeks on the bottom part Doc Elmer are now safe for this week's elimination.

What about Jommy? well, Jommy is still on his way to the elimination! Lol.

Ram, second Pinoy Fear Factor deportee (eliminated)

Tonight, on the last episode of Pinoy Fear Factor for the week, the second Deportee (eliminated) of the competition has been revealed. After haven't beaten the score (time) of Doc Elmer, Ram has been bullted out from the competition with the time 30 seconds vs. the time of Doc Elmer with the time of 38 seconds hanging on the swinging and heavy flying chopper doing some acrobatic moves tryign to fell the Participantes as soon as possible. Ram, haven't beaten the three more other Chicos Participantes who were also competing to be saved from the elimination. He didn't even beat Doc Elmer who was previously get injured doing the stunt. Well, actually all of them are injured but Doc Elmer had the rapid injury. If you missed this topic, you can read it here.

Ram's journey in Pinoy Fear Factor's race has really ended. I thought Jommy will be eliminated from this week (I'm hoping though), I was just shocked when Ram didn't stay longer hanging on the trapeze and I didn't expect that he will be eliminated as early as this, since i read some articles before saying that he won the competition.

Well, all i can say is, Bye! Hehe...

Doc Elmer's "Ouchy back"

If Justin Timberlake has a sexy back, Doc Elmer of Pinoy Fear Factor also had his Ouchy Back. On the last night's episode of Pinoy Fear Factor, Ram, Jommy, Jose and Elmer has started their final elimination round and the stunt that they will be performing is Acrobacias En Helicoptero o Acrobatic sa Helicopterin our native language. Last night, Doc Elmer was the first who performed the stunt, he lapses over 30 seconds leaving the 3 Pump Squad members. Btw, i'm sure not of you watched the last night's episodes, so i'm gonna tell you a little information about the stunt that they will be doing. First, is they need to hold the bar on the helicopters' bottom and they will be swinged as heavy as the pilot could and they will be judged on the time that they stayed hanging on the helicopter. Sounds exciting right? Well, if you will ehar this next story, i think it wouldn't be that exciting then. :D


As what i have said, Doc Elmer was the first who tried the stunt and he last over 30 seconds hanging on the bar. On his fall, as the helicopter was really swinging so heavy, he dropped into the cold water with a uncomfy position. I mean, he's drop wasn't that good. After being pulled the a one Fear Factor staff he shouted and scream for his back, "Ouch! Ouch! My back... My back! Ouch!" this are the words that i can't forget about the incident. He was then brought to the stand-by rubber boat and gracefully wxclaimed for his ribs. What happened to him? That is the fact that we will discover tonight. :D

Chicos are the real losers?

Chicos are the real losers? this thought came out on my mind after last nights' Pinoy Fear Factor episode that made Ram, Elmer, Jose, and the pitcher Jommy to be on the bottom line for the elimination this week. These fantastic 4 Chicos gets the lowest score on the Coglarse Como Tarzan stunt together with Rj, Janna and Savanah that were also saved from the elimination after winning the top Participantes on the Bon Appetit challenge wherein they ate uncook sheep's brain and eyes.

Tonight, the 4 Chicos will be competing to be saved for this week's elimination. Who will be the 2nd Deportee of Pinoy Fear Factor? Who will be coming back to the country and will stop his fame for the Fear Factor Dome? We'll find out tonight at Pinoy Fear Factor Argentina, South America.

Savanah nabastos at nakagat sa Argentina!

Sa episode ng Pinoy Fear Factor kagabi isinalaysay ni Savanah ang kanyang naging karanasan sa Argentina kasama ang ibang Participantes. Isa sa activity ng Dose Participantes ay ang pagsasayaw ng Tango, hindi nga naman kumpleto ang pag-punta mo sa Argentina kung hindi ka sumayaw ng Tango.

Sa activity na yon, si Savanah Lamsen nga ay nabastos! "May lumapit sa amin... Spanish sya kaya hindi namin maintindihan. Akala ko parang nag-aadmire lang. Pero bigla nalang may nagsabing, How Much?...Dun na!" At habang sinasabi raw ito ni Elmer sa ibang mga lalakeng Participantes, kung nagkaroon lang sana ng pagkakataon eh binugbog na nila yon. (Nyok, hindi ko na matandaan kung ano talaga yung exact words nsa sinabi nya, pero eto yung ibig sabighin nun, sa pagkaka-intindi ko. hehe) At sabi ko sa mga boys wag nyo nalang pansinin, baka nga nagagandahan lang talaga sila sa akin (Hahaha...). wika ni Savanah."

At tungkol naman sa istoryang nakagat si Savanah, yep! talagang nakagat sya! Nakagat sya nang talangka. Hehe... Sa second stunt ng mga Participante ito nangyari. Tradisyonal na nga sa mga reality shows ang pagkain o ang pag-dala ng mga exotic and unusual foods gamit ang bibig. At dahil nga Pinoy Fear Factor ito, at hindi hamak na cheapang reality show lang... Ang talangka ang Factor doon. Dapat madala ng mga Participante ang mga naglalakihan at nakaka-diri nga namang mata ng mga baka galing sa isang kahon papunta sa isa. Una nang sumbak sa hamon sina Gail, RJ, Elmer, at Savanah sa stunt. Nag-succeed naman ang unang apat, pero kailangan pang i-check ang kanilang time sa paggawa ng stunt. Pero bago matapos ang episode kagabi, etong si Savanah nasipit nga ng Talangka sa kanyang mukha! Aruuyy! Makawala pa kaya?... Abangan mamayang gabi. Pagkatapos ng I love Betty La Fea! :D

Pinoy Fear Factor pilot episode review

The time has come... The real Pinoy Fear Factor thrill has officially started. I just finished watching the pilot episode of Pinoy Fear Factor and it's really really hot and nice! Haha... All of the Participantes are really hunky and gorgeous, and Ryan really done the good thing. It was expected that this show will gonna be nice because of Direk Lauren Dyogi's (Pinoy Big Brother director) supervision. This show is really exciting. Tonight, the Participantes' first stunt has just started, and Elmer didn't make it, tommorow it will be continued and i can't wait to watch it then. Whoa! This is really a long journey for Pinoy Fear Factor fans like me.

Well, Pinoy Fear Factor has just started as well as to this Fan site, and i just would like to thank you guys for choosing www.pinoy-fearfactor.blogspot.com as your home in Pinoy Fear Factor news and updates, we have established this site later than the other seld-hosted fan sites but your guys' response is really overwhelming. AS watching the pilot episode of the show just this night, I learned more about the show and with the Participantes (contestants), with their personal life and many more about them, and i can't really wait to share to you guys. The folow up of this post is the "Pinoy Fear Factor trivia" and i assure you that post will gonna be so exciting too! :D And I have a little bit gossip to you... Savanah like Ram!??? Whaaat!?.. Yeah. I'm gonna share it a little bit later. Okies? Let me do this post as a sneak peak preview of our future publication. Hehe...

Jose Sarasola
Age: 22
Origin: Parañaque
Occupation: Culinary student
Greatest fear/s: Deep water

Jose finished high school in an exclusive school in Greenhills and also studied in another exclusive school for boys in the south of Metro Manila. He is now an aspiring chef working as an intern in one of the most luxurious hotels in Manila. Jose lives in an exclusive village in Parañaque as the only child of a Spaniard father and a Filipina mother.

It’s obvious that Jose is a rich kid given the many ‘exclusives’ in his life, but he says he’s far from being ‘conio.’ He has two sets of friends: the rich kids and the village friends which include security guards, house helps, and the bums. Whenever he meets a girl that he likes, Jose introduces her to his village friends, and if the girl has bad things to say about his friends, he believes the girl is not the right one for her. Jose says that he enjoys the company of his village friends more.

Jose has been to the best countries around the globe. He plays basketball and goes to the gym four times a week. In spite of this, he finds his life a bit boring. Jose decided to join Pinoy Fear Factor in search of a new excitement. By getting down and dirty in every stunt and challenge, Jose is out to prove that he is not the typical ‘conio’ kid that people think of.


Savanah Lamsen
Age: 23
Origin: Quezon City
Occupation: Ledge dancer, model
Greatest fear/s: cats

Savanah is a woman who can excite men’s imagination with her sexy body, and also tickle everybody’s funny bone with her sense of humor. She once posed for the center page of a sexy magazine in hopes of getting into showbiz. Savanah dreams of helping her family through a tough financial situation.

When her parents were still together, Savanah’s family never had any problem about money. They used to have a meat dealership business that enabled her to spend all the cash she wants for parties and other luxuries. But when crisis struck their livelihood, she had no other choice but to adjust to a simple life.

Savanah is determined to become the first El Ultimo Participante of Pinoy Fear Factor. Though most of her friends find her clumsy, she is out to prove that she can conquer all the challenges in the biggest reality stunt show. Savanah plans to use the two million cash prize as capital for her parents to start a new business so her family can be reunited.


Manuel Chua Jr.
Age: 27
Origin: Cabanatuan City
Occupation: Self-employed
Greatest fear/s: failure, crocodiles

Before becoming the good son and an able father to a four-year old daughter, Manuel first had his share of troubles. He used to have a lot of vices, being a womanizer and a speed junkie. After a series of mistakes and car accidents, Manuel was blessed with a daughter from his current partner. From then on, he promised to work hard to be a good provider to his daughter instead of leaving everything up to his partner who is a lawyer and is from a well-to-do family.

Manuel is running an appliance store business which he inherited from his father. They used to have 36 store branches all over Luzon. But when his father died of liver cirrhosis, they were left with just three stores. Now, Manuel continues to struggle to keep their family business afloat for the sake of his family. He aims to win the two million pesos and house and lot from Pinoy Fear Factor which he will save their business and to give his daughter a bright future.


Bernabe ‘RJ’ Calipus Jr.
Age: 20
Origin: Parola, Tondo
Occupation: kargador
Greatest fear/s: heights

RJ was born from a Filipina woman and a French man. However, he never met his biological parents. His mother had him adopted because she can no longer support him. RJ then lived a fast-paced life as a Tondo boy. He became a father at a tender age of 17, and just a few months ago, his partner gave birth to their second child.

Although RJ is ready to face any difficulty, he could not bear to see his daughters go hungry or sick. That is why he is willing to take on any job just to make a decent living. But since he only finished second year in high school, he had no other choice but to work as a wharf porter and ‘kargador’ in Divisoria. RJ also takes automotive classes at night.

RJ hopes to win the top prize for the sake of his family. Joining Pinoy Fear Factor gives him a lot of ‘first times’ in his life: his first time to ride a plane, first time to leave the country, and first time to be seen on television. Will he become the first El Ultimo Participante?


Jommy Teotico
Age: 24
Origin: Manila
Occupation: Model
Greatest fear/s: cockroach, feeding on insects

Jommy grew up in the streets of Manila and made fun of his classmates and cracked a lot of jokes. He liked making people laugh. He was an easy-going person who frequently got whatever he wanted, especially the girls. Jommy was called an ‘alaskador’ and ‘playboy’ by his peers.

But fate played a funny trick on him when, after getting drunk, he woke up in bed with a married woman beside him. Although he was sure nothing happened, the woman’s relatives bea him senseless. From then on, Jommy valued his second chance at life and vowed to change. He is no longer the known playboy but Jommy kept his humorous side with him.

Jommy used his talent in making people laugh to his advantage during the contest. Watch out for his wise cracks to distract the other Participantes. For his family, Jommy is determined to emerge as the first El Ultimo Participante of Pinoy Fear Factor.


Gail Nicolas
Age: 25
Origin: Quezon City
Occupation: TV, commercial, and ramp model; nail artist
Greatest fear/s: heights, dark places

As the winner of Mossimo Bikini Summit 2007, Gail is undoubtedly one hot woman. She has graced numerous TV commercials and fashion shows. Her beauty, charm, and physique are her tools as the breadwinner of their family. When Gail was 17, her father’s relatives forced them out of their house, and not long after, her father passed away. Since then she has assumed the responsibility to provide for her family, and she even helped her older brother finish school.

Gail used to play volleyball in college. She believes that being athletic is her edge in conquering all the challenges in Pinoy Fear Factor.


Elmer Felix
Age: 25
Origin: Pampanga
Occupation: Veterinarian, medical representative
Greatest fear/s: drowning, deep water, unusual and exotic edibles

Elmer could still recall how he struggled for the professional board exam to get his license. He failed twice in the exam, but instead of giving up, he decided to pursue with his dreams. Elmer eventually passed on his third try and got his license as a veterinarian.

Underneath the average looks of this Kapampangan is a competitive and persistent spirit. A few years ago, Elmer used to be very skinny. He decided to hit the gym and put on some muscles for more extra pogi points. After years of religiously working out five times a week, Elmer now has the body of a hunk.

Elmer is ready to once again prove that persistence is the key to success. He is prepared to take on any challenge and add another title to his name: El Ultimo Participante of Pinoy Fear Factor.


Ram Sagad
Age: 23
Origin: Quezon City
Occupation: Model, student, ex-basketball player
Greatest fear/s: Heights, unusual and exotic edibles

Ram considers basketball as his first and greatest love. He was playing for NCAA but had to let go when he felt that he wasn’t being given the recognition he deserves. It was difficult for Ram not to be able to play, but he was happy with his choice to keep his self-confidence.

After leaving the court, this six-plus footer figured he was too young to take life seriously. He devoted his time to his family, school, playing video games, and going to bars with friends. But Ram decided to go on a different kind of adventure by joining Pinoy Fear Factor. Going to Argentina was the first time he was separated from his family and from the things he loved. He hopes that his athletic background will give him the advantage in facing his fears, like heights and eating exotic edibles, and winning the two million pesos and the brand new house and lot for his family.


Janna Dominguez
Age: 18
Origin: Dagat-dagatan, Malabon/Quezon City
Occupation: TV host, sales agent
Greatest fear/s: spiders, closed spaces

Janna looks like an actress from a Koreanovela on television. But in her case, the drama of her life story is real. Janna’s biological mother left her and is now living a good life in Japan. Her father married a 25-year old woman who not only became her step-mother but also her best friend. Since life is still hard for their family, her father continues to work in a construction in Japan.

Dreaming to provide the best for her family and an enjoyable retirement for her father, Janna is ready to take on any opportunity and challenge. She is determined to conquer Pinoy Fear Factor and write a better story for her life.


Marion dela Cruz
Age: 21
Origin: Austria/Valenzuela City
Occupation: Student
Greatest fear/s: Heights

Marion’s father was a driver in an embassy while his mother was a cleaning lady in another embassy. He was born in Vienna and spent most of his life in Austria. Nevertheless, his parents managed to teach him to speak Tagalog and live the good Filipino values. Marion met a lot of women in Vienna, but never had a serious relationship with any of them. He said he still prefers the conservative Filipinas over the liberated Austrians.

Marion was a good soccer player but later became unfit to play any sport after getting into lots of vices and troubles. He frequently got into fights because of racism and would often drink and smoke. When his parents couldn’t handle him anymore, he was sent to the Philippines to live with his grandmother.

Starting a new life in the Philippines was challenging at first for Marion. But because of his lola, he got used to doing lots of households chores and going to the palengke. Now, Marion is up for a much greater challenge as a Participante of Pinoy Fear Factor. He is ready to face whatever kind of challenge to win the top prize so he can convince his parents to live with him here in the Philippines.


Phem Barranda
Age: 27
Origin: Parañaque
Occupation: TV host, model, actress
Greatest fear/s: snakes, insects

Phem is the beautiful face that brings the latest entertainment news every night on TV Patrol World and every Sunday afternoon on The Buzz. This sexy and glamorous gal has graced the covers of various magazines and billboards. But Phem doesn’t want to be known as just a mere ‘celebrity’ because she believes she has more to offer beyond her attractive face and body.

Many don’t know that Phem never had an easy life growing up. She was born in a ‘second’ family, and in the Philippine setting, people tend to have unfair judgment to children who doesn’t belong in a ‘normal’ family.

Phem believes that Pinoy Fear Factor is her chance to break the ‘usual celebrity’ image people put on her. She is ready to get down and dirty to become the first El Ultimo Participante.



LJ Moreno
Age: 27
Origin: Marikina
Occupation: Preschool teacher, actress
Greatest fear/s: Deep water, cockroach

After appearing in TV commercials and gracing magazine pages at a young age, LJ ventured into acting on TV and movies. But she decided to leave behind a stable showbiz career to focus on other things that are also important to her. When her parents got separated and her mother migrated to the US, LJ became a sister and mother to her younger siblings. While doing her responsibility to her family, she finished a degree in early childhood education

LJ tried to live a different life away from the limelight. During this time she grew fond of competitive sports like racing, wakeboarding, and the likes. Given all the physical and emotional challenges she had gone through, LJ believes that she has what it takes to be the first El Ultimo Participante of Pinoy Fear Factor: Argentina, South America.
